Quantum SEAPonyCon which was originally held on 24 May 2020 was a fun venture but also a disaster in terms of logistics. We know. We felt it too.
That's why we want to take another shot at it and would like to have you join
us as we re-experience the content of that weekend and witness the diligence of our Harmony Six presenters as it was meant to be enjoyed - right inside of our Minecraft server called The Medium.
More than ever before, we
want to get things right this time around and we can't wait to reopen our world to you once again!
Built from the ground-up to be a bridge across the digital divide, The Medium is a convention centre that lives inside a Minecraft server. After hosting Asia's most diverse brony convention in May 2020, The Medium is now open once
again as a place to gather and enjoy the company of friends while the world recovers from lockdowns and restrictions that have hindered our normal social interactions.
The Medium can be your place to call home too. Support Project SEAPonyCon to help keep The Medium online and receive rewards such as a permanent hotel room right inside our server.
The Medium is free to access to anyone.
Donations are not required in order to enter - you just need a valid Minecraft Java Edition account.
Project SEAPonyCon - the founders of The Medium was established in 2013 as a joint effort by bronies across five major Southeast Asian countries with the aim of creating a gathering that transcends nationalities and boundaries.
After
our first conversation in Bangkok in 2017, Project SEAPonyCon went on to hold two more conventions in Singapore and The Philippines, bringing our message that a place for friendship shouldn't be for just one nation to new horizons.
The Medium was first pitched as a venue that possessed quantum omnipresent properties and needed special equipment to access. It would be a venue that has no fixed location but rather can exist in multiple places at once.
Of
course, that’s merely a fantasy - a fantasy based on a dream we have where we could live in a world without borders and where the harsh expenses of travel would not stand in the way of being able to attend and enjoy a convention
like Project SEAPonyCon.
Today, our builders are hard at work not just on a Minecraft server for Project SEAPonyCon but also a world to live, love and laugh in without the borders our real world imposes on us.
The Medium runs on a heavily-modded Minecraft server, which in turn would require your computer to have sufficient resources to be able to run smoothly.
- A 64-bit Intel or AMD computer running Microsoft® Windows 7 or higher
- A licensed copy of Minecraft Java Edition. The Medium will unfortunately not be compatible with Minecraft Bedrock, sorry.
- A Discord account.

* Although Minecraft is cross-platform, our mod pack unfortunately is not. While it will be possible
